How long have you been in Business? I am enjoying my 6th year turning caffeine into invoices and panic into productivity. Proof that hard work, stubbornness, and mild chaos can really pay off.
Do you have any reviews? Absolutely! People seem to love how I do business. Check out my first company- Leave Stumps 2 Me LLC that I built during the hardest time in World History during the COVID era. If you’ve ever ran a business, you’d know how hard it is to get reviews let alone maintain a five-star rating! An achievement I am very proud of. Reviews may be found on Home Advisor.
What kind of work do you do? I handle most small home repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets, drywall repairs mounting TV’s, light fixture replacements, simple welding repairs, outdoor maintenance and many more.
What Jobs I don’t do: I don’t take on large construction, roofing, major plumbing, major electrical & HVAC that require a licensed contractor and permit. If I cannot legally or safely do the work, I’ll try to point you in the right direction.
What is your experience with home maintenance?
I have over twelve years of experience in home maintenance remodeling my own home as well as three family lake houses solving various projects. I have also shadowed other handymen over the years and completed multiple complex Government projects.
Why texts and not a phone call?
Because of a loud environment, texts are preferred to keep track of all details in a job. A text also ensures that I don’t miss your inquiry if I’m unable to answer the phone while on a jobsite or with a customer.
Why a Handyman vs a contractor?
Great question! A Handyman is best for quick small projects such as fixing a leaky faucet or toilet where a plumber may be much more expensive and take longer to schedule an appointment. A handyman is often lower cost, offers fast availability and is very versatile. A Contractor is typically for larger jobs such as renovations and longer-term improvements.
Why hire someone to stump grind, rather than DIY rental?
While renting a machine could be a good option, it is only cost effective to use for small stumps. You have to remember that you are only renting the machine, not the insurance, trailer, or other equipment. Not to mention your own time and safety. By hiring a professional, you have someone who is insured and has all the equipment needed with experience. Stump grinding grinds the stump down below ground level approximately 4″. This leaves a layer of sawdust and grindings behind that can be used for mulch or cleaned up depending on preference so that grass can regrow. Stump grinding makes an excellent choice for gardening, easier lawn care.
